AS-GW/SiClaro greywater treatment plants are designed for a flow from 1 to 30 m3/day. This technology is suitable both for new buildings and for refurbishment of existing buildings.

Recycling of greywater from showers, washbasins, washing machines and technological processes, i.e. not containing human waste and urine, produces high-quality process water for re-using.

Why use AS–GW/SiClaro

  • saving potable water independently of rain
  • short return time - saving on potable water, saving on drained waste water fees
  • technology with low energy demands - high quality treatment of less polluted water
  • small space requirements - the use of membrane technology reduces the required space and consequently investment
  • use of proven membrane technology
  • limited resources of high-quality potable water - protection of water sources and the environment

Use of greywater in various buildings

  • apartment buildings - allowing you to conveniently combine the use of greywater and rainwater and to achieve higher savings
  • hotels, wellness centres - high production of greywater Water consumption in hotels varies from 125 to 200 l/day/guest
  • sports facilities - large irrigated green areas that can use treated greywater
  • commercial and industrial buildings - high production of greywater from showers and washbasins that can be used e.g. for flushing of toilets

Description of the technology

Wastewater flows through a mechanical particle filter to a reaction tank where water is biologically treated. The reaction tank is fitted with a membrane module in the bottom of which an aeration system is installed. Over the membrane module a pump is installed that suctions water by vacuum through the membranes and transfers treated water into the accumulation tank of treated water. Water from the accumulation tank is pumped into the operation water distribution system. The reaction tank is equipped with an emergency overflow. The system can be refilled with potable water.
