AS-TOM

AS-TOM is product for measuring of fluid quantities discharged from a wastewater treatment plant…

The AS-TOM overflow is used for measurements of current flow rates of wastewater at the discharge from a wastewater treatment plant.

AS-TOM has been designed according to the requirements of the new standard TNV 259305 “Measurement systems of water volumes passed in profiles with free water level”.

This system of measurements of cleaned wastewater we repeatedly propose as a measuring point beyond wastewater treatment plants and other products, where flow rate values start at 0.22 litres per second; it is suitable to set the equipment beyond vegetation wastewater treatment plants.

where H n is the height of the superstructure section; it is optional according to the local requirements, as follows:

H n = { 0; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5 } m

We are able to supply the measurement system as a turnkey project, i.e. the measurement device (plastic shaft + stainless steel overflow), the ultrasound probe, incl. the evaluation unit plus its installation, incl. the device calibration, and official approvals (measurement device approved for invoicing).

AS-TOM is offered in several options of the shaft design intended also for other conditions.

Self-supporting design – a structure consisting of welded polypropylene (PP) wall elements and panels; the equipment is intended for undemanding foundation conditions without any occurrence of the underground water level above the foundation base.

Design for concrete encasement – a polypropylene structure designed for the concrete encasement. This design is intended for undemanding foundation conditions with the occurrence of the underground water level above the foundation base.

Double-jacket design – a propylene double-jacket structure is prepared for concrete pouring into the space between the double walls. This design is intended for demanding foundation conditions, i.e. difficult foundation soil types, water bearing soil, and places with significant effects of the underground water.

The height difference between the inlet and outlet pipes in the plant is 600 mm; this value must be respected and incorporated to the equipment design. This working height cannot be reduced, it will be necessary to lay the outlet pipeline to the relevant depth.
