The development of the composite ceramic membranes made from recycled materials including methods of their application in the fields of industrial water treatment and recycling
The project „ Development of composite ceramic membranes made from recycled materials including methods of their application in the fields of industrial water treatment and recycling“ under acronyme Ceramtech is solved under financial support from the Ministry of Industry and the Trade in TRIO programme in 2017 – 2020.
The project aims to develop integrated membrane technologies based on advanced ceramic materials prepared from the secondary produced waste. The membrane technology will be used for advanced treatment of industrial waste water with recycling water, within reusing of the valuable components and potentially heat recovering. The main results of the project are:
- proven technology of ceramic membranes made from recycled materials
- proven technology applications and integration of microfiltration
- ultrafiltration developed ceramic membranes to selected industries, e.g.: automotive, engineering industry and secondary in laundry industry, food processing and manufacturing industries.
ASIO will offer ceramic membranes to OEM companies in order to expand their product portfolio. Asio will be primary focused on the industrial customers by offering the turnkey projects and engineering, where water recycling, resuing valuable materials and heat recovering improves the economy of production and contributes to the protection of the environment through minimal pollution of discharged water.
ASIO Ltd. is the project coordinator. VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava is the academic partner of the project.
