Innovative printed sensor for detection of heavy metal presence in water environment

The project: „Innovative printed sensor for detection of heavy metal presence in water environment“ under acronyme DeTeKo is solved with financial support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under programme for support of applied research and experimental development EPSILON in 2015 - 2017.

The project is focused on development of a procedure for production of printed sensors for a quick, accurate and cost effective detection of heavy metals in aqueous media. Sensor can be used for field measurement where accurate and fast detection is required. This includes emergency situations (industrial and ecological disasters), and standard analysis in the field of water and wastewater treatment. Our goal is the entrance of the product on the market immediately after the completion of the project.

Consortium consists of University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and Mendel University in Brno. Industrial partners of the projects are ASIO Ltd. and Centre for Organic Chemistry Ltd.
