The aim of the project is to develop and test a simulation tool for monitoring and control of reuse technologies using a digital twin for existing pilot-plant technological units for treated municipal wastewater reuse at WWTP Brno-Modřice.
The project FW06010567 Digital twin of water reuse technologies under the acronym DIGITWINS is addressed in the 6th public call of the TREND programme in subprogramme 1 - "Technology Leaders" within the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic in the years 2023 - 2025.
The aim of the project is to develop and test a simulation tool for monitoring and control of reuse technologies using a digital twin for existing pilot-plant technological units for treated municipal wastewater reuse at WWTP Brno-Modřice. The innovation includes implementation of advanced sensors, creation of digital twin of pilot-plant units and creation of variant self-learning algorithms for steady state and dynamic behaviour simulation. By correlating the monitored variables, we will achieve the creation of soft sensors for pollution monitoring and simulation of reuse efficiency, which will allow to predict and minimize risks for reused water application according to EU Regulation 2020/741.The output will be a digital twin module integrated into a comprehensive reuse technology solution
The project is solved in a consortium of ASIO TECH, spol. s r.o.
