Stormwater management

Incorrect solutions of rainwater infiltration & drain systems can cause serious problems. This especially applies to cities and municipalities the duty of administration of local roads, car parks, lay-by areas or other grass plots or hard surfaces. At the same time, there are available simple draining systems that present easy solutions for draining of car parks or rainwater infiltration. If it is suitable to use rainwater later, underground plastic tanks offer an ideal solution for rainwater storage; they can be easily connected to the stormwater sewers.

The AS-KRECHT is a tunnel-shaped accumulation and drainage system consisting of a light, plastic semicircular box (boxes) closed at both ends with plastic fronts. It is a high-capacity underground system that is suitable for the accumulation and gradual infiltration of rainwater from consolidated areas and surfaces into soil.

It consists of infiltration honeycomb-type blocks that can be customised to the size and shape of the drained land area. By this, a suitable underground space is created for the rainwater accumulation and its consequent infiltration from hard surfaces. Along with a new layout of access/exit shafts, the new concept of feeding and draining pipes makes possible more efficient end economical draining of the relevant land areas.

This is expressed by the “drainage coefficient” (0.6 to 0.8).
