Separation of hydrocarbons from water and their quality control

The Project “Separation of hydrocarbons from water and their quality control” under acronyme Uhlovodíky was solved with financial support of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the programme for support of applied research and experimental development ALFA in 2011 - 2013. 

The project objective was to develop and verify procedures on the principle of membrane separation methods, i.e. combination of membranes and pretreatment of feed, leading to more efficient and effective removal of hydrocarbons from water. The solution did not remove hydrocarbons to a certain level, but also defines design conditions for the overall recycling of specific wastewater, i.e. solution for water hygienization or removal of other operational problems.

Consortium consisted of ASIO Ltd. and University of Pardubice.
