In 2017 we conducted negotiations with a company experiencing many troubles with their old greasetrap in downtown of Budapest, called Borkonyha (Winekitchen). As it was located near the St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), we believed that it could be an interesting project for ASIO. As early as in our first meeting, we understood that the company is not a simple restaurant, because the Chef, Mr. Ákos Sárközi, was the most famous cook, frequently employed by the Hungarian TV, a co-owner of the restaurant visited by many celebrities and famous actors, and finally yet importantly, both chef and restaurant were the Michelin star holders. Therefore, after the first round of negotiations, we inspected the old equipment in the cellar and discussed how it could be possible to dismantle old one and install a new one. As regards this historical centre development, it features in small doors and huge cellars, which means that welding processes must be employed here. In the end, we agreed not on a single, but two installations immediately! The company owners had invested into a next restaurant, very close to the Winekitchen restaurant, just on the opposite side. This was a bit more complicated, because of the cleaning (operate) of the grease trap. For this reason, we offered the AS-FAKU FOZ technology for both restaurants, but the owners decided only for one piece of AS-FAKU FOZ 2 and one pieceof simple AS-FAKU 4 EO , mostly because of the price.
Gradually, we discussed this with ASIO NEW and delivered the grease trap AS-FAKU FOZ 2 from Czech Republic, while we decided to produce in Hungary a simple AS-FAKU 4 with AS-PUMP shaft for the „Winekitchen” restaurant. During the installation, the restaurant was under operation, so we had to carry the works out during Sunday night and all the day on Monday. It was successful and perfect work, so half a year after the start-up the owners informed us everything is working well with simple AS-FAKU 4. As regards the AS-FAKU FOZ. 2 Manual, we are able to inform you soon, because this restaurant will open in these days. If somebody admires the Budapest downtown atmosphere and wishes to taste of a Michelin-star chef menu, then it is advisable to visit the Winekitchen restaurant situated next to the basilica and, while having a good time, realise that the kitchen wastewater is cleaned by the ASIO equipment.
