At the beginning of July we experienced the hottest week of the year so far - and it's days like this that show why we need blue-green infrastructure! 🌳💧

We tested how a permeable parking lot with vegetation constructed from AS-TTE GRIDS works in practice on the ASIO premises. The measurement results from a hot summer day (almost 35 °C!) speak volumes:

• Lower temperatures compared to asphalt
• A more pleasant microclimate
• Energy savings due to less need for air conditioning
• Support for biodiversity and water quality

Thanks to the AS-TTE GRIDS soaking grids and the planting of greenery, the heat island is reduced and the environment is improved not only for people but also for nature. Practical proof that blue-green solutions are not just theory - but an effective tool for urban adaptation to climate change.
