II. meeting of service technicians of foreign representatives of ASIO

After two years, we met again with our representatives from European countries who sell, operate and maintain our company's wastewater treatment plants. During this meeting, we shared our experience in designing, installing, commissioning and subsequent servicing of wastewater treatment plants in the Czech Republic, France, Finland, Hungary, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Serbia. We compared individual types of wastewater treatment plants and their use in terms of installation, outflow parameters, wastewater treatment plant volumes and principles of treatment processes. We discussed the most common errors in designing and operating wastewater treatment plants, the most common defects that arise during operation and what their adequate solution is.

We presented not only our standard series of AS-VARIOcomp K, AS-MONOcomp, AS-ANAZON and AS-VARIOcomp ULTRA WWTPs, but also the current developments and research on the new AS-VARIOcomp NITRI WWTP, tests and operation of the WWTP without inflow for a long time, as well as testing of new membranes for use in greywater treatment, or as a third stage of treatment after a classic biological WWTP. In the practical part of this workshop, we mainly focused on problems associated with the operation of blowers, the most common faults and their elimination, maintenance and service of individual types.

The second major topic of the practical part was the issue of control units, i.e. their installation, settings, program adjustments and troubleshooting of potential operational failures. This training often brings together very different experiences gained across Europe, and these different perspectives are always enriching for all participants in this event.
