First application and market replication of a cost-effective and sustainable industrial wastewater purification system with ozone oxidation and flotation technique for water conservation and reuse.

The Project „First application and market replication of a cost-effective and sustainable industrial wastewater purification system with ozone oxidation and flotation technique for water conservation and reuse. “ under acronyme ApplyAdoxpol was solved under financial support of the European Union through EcoInnovation projects in 2012 – 2014.

The project was about innovative wastewater treatment technology with application of ozone. For higher efficacy of this method is crucial novel ozone injection. A flotation unit was developed to maximize the oxidation process with minimum amount of ozone. The ozone allows the oxidation of recalcitrant substances and with the development of a flotation unit this enhances the optimal diffusion of micro-bubbles, coalescence of colloidal materials and efficient removal of agglomeration of coagulating froth/adsorbed pollutants. The project includes production and process engineering, a business plan and dissemination activities.

Consortium consisted of Normex AS and Salsnes Filter AS from Norway, ASIO Ltd., Statiflo International Ltd. from Great Britain and two Polish companies - VS Poland Sp z o.o. and Hydro-Eco-System Sp z o.o.
