The AS-VARIOcomp N sewage treatment plants are suitable for use in buildings with a capacity of 30 to 50 equivalent inhabitants (EO), whether they are municipalities, accommodation facilities, apartment complexes or corporate premises.

AS-VARIOcomp N is based on a proven technology solution that ensures stable operation with minimal power consumption. The technology uses aerobic biological processes with a fine-bubble aeration system to ensure balance and low operational load. Application areas
AS-VARIOcomp N builds on the successful AS-VARIOcomp V series and reflects the requirements of the European standard EN 12255 (parts 1-16). They are primarily intended for:
- Residential complexes and parts of municipalities,
- hotels and guest houses,
- establishments, businesses and other buildings.
Thanks to its flexible design, it easily adapts to local conditions. Greater capacity can be achieved by combining multiple units or designing an atypical solution.
Description of the technology
- Inflow and pre-treatment
The wastewater first flows into the settling section where mechanical impurities are separated and anaerobic digestion takes place.

Activation process
The mechanically pre-treated water proceeds to the activation area, equipped with a fine bubble aeration system, where biological treatment takes place.
- Dosing area
The activated mixture passes into the dosing tank where the sludge is separated from the treated water. The sludge is returned and the excess sludge is stored.
- Extraction and accumulation
The treated water is extracted by mammoth pumps. This creates an accumulation area for the even treatment of the newly flowing water.
- Air system
Two blowers supply air - one to the activation section, the other to drive the pumps. The control is automatic via an electrical switchboard.

Basic model with gravity feed, no pumping shaft required.
AS-VARIOcomp N/P
Extended version with precipitant dosing device that reduces the phosphorus content of the treated water. It allows to guarantee the concentration of P total. ≤ 2 mg/l.
AS-VARIOcomp N/PUMP
Variant designed for sites with unfavourable altitude conditions. Includes integrated pumping station with sludge pump and comb wall for pre-treatment.
AS-VARIOcomp N/CONCRETE
Technology built into precast concrete tanks (60-150 EO). Advantages: quick installation, no wet processes required.
