A wide range of water-management products in parts is used for handling of water in family houses. Some of them are intended for rainwater handling or connections to the water main (see the water‑measuring shafts, tanks or reservoirs). Consequently, there are wastewater treatment units (popularly called the “cleaners”) of various types and sizes, including extensive and vegetation ones enabling to optimise and tailor the design to the existing local conditions and operator’s situation. In addition, there are unique solutions combining the utilisation of various kinds of water in a complex system to create, for instance, an isolated isle arrangement, e.g. in houses independent on public networks.
