Ces chambres de débordement à fente sont particulièrement avantageuses pour les configurations de terrain à faible gradient qui posent souvent le problème de remous de l'égout entrant, vers l'égout de débordement conduisant à une autre destination. En général, les chambres sont à garantie de dépassement minimal de la Qt de sortie vers la station de traitement des eaux usées, aussi longtemps que le Qc total d'entrée à la chambre ne dépasse pas 10 à 12 fois la valeur de débit Ql limite…

Overflow slot chambers are especially advantageous for low-gradient terrain configurations that frequently face the problem of backwater in the incoming sewer, with the overflow sewer leading to a recipient. In general, the slot chambers guarantee minimal exceeding of the outflow Qt towards the wastewater treatment plant, so long as the total inflow Qc at the chamber does not exceed 10 to 12 times the limit flow value Ql.
