Capacitive deionization
The project: „Capacitive deionization“ under acronyme CADESTECH (CApacitive DESalination TECHnology) is solved with financial support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under programme for support of applied research and experimental development EPSILON in 2015 - 2017.
The project is focused on developing and producing the technology based on electrosorption processes and ion separation for water treatment. This technology will be an alternative process to conventional technologies (reverse osmosis, ion-exchangers and distillation) with its lower costs, especially in case of low mineralized water.
Consortium consists of ASIO Ltd., SPUR a.s. and University of Chemistry and Technology Prague.
