The project "Optimization of membrane regeneration protocol" with the working title ORPM is being solved with the financial support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade within the framework of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership program - call I. In the years 2024-2026.

The goal of the project is to optimize the regeneration protocol for membrane technologies supplied by ASIO TECH for water treatment and cleaning of municipal and industrial wastewater. The regeneration protocol will optimize individual cleaning cycles to achieve operational cost savings and extend the lifetime of membrane technologies using optimally selected chemicals, length of cleaning cycles and intervals between individual cleaning cycles or flushing while maintaining the chemical durability of the membranes. The optimized protocol will be directly proportional to the saving of operating costs both for the regeneration cycles directly at the treatment plants and for the external regeneration of the modules. Lower operating costs will increase the company's competitiveness and the demand for supplies from ASIO TECH.

The consortium is formed by the main beneficiary ASIO TECH, spol. s.r.o. and knowledge organization Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry and Environmental Protection Technology.
